James Haynes – retired Johnson & Johnson Executive with 30+ years of diverse business experience.
Prior to retirement, James served in a number of Senior Leadership positions within Johnson & Johnson’s Supply Chain Organization. Some of which include: Vice President of Consumer Office of Strategy & Execution, Global Supply Chain Integration Leader, Vice President Global Network Integration for the Group of Consumer Companies, Manufacturing Plant Manager, Vice President Strategic Supply Chain Baby and Beauty and a member of the Global Customer Development Council, Vice President World Wide Operations Baby/Kids/Wound Care Franchises and was a member of the Management Board.
Also during his distinguished career at Johnson & Johnson, James received numerous awards that include: the “Juan A. Simpson Outstanding Service Award” and the “Johnson & Johnson Affirmative Action Award”. He also served as Chairman of the H.O.N.O.R. affinity group–“Helping Our Neighbors with Our Resources.”
Prior to becoming Chairman of the OICA National Board of Directors, James served as a member at large on the Board of Directors and remains a standing member of the Finance Committee. He has also served as 1st Vice Chair and attended the Economic Development Forum held in South Africa – representing both OIC and Johnson & Johnson.
One of James’ many passions is mentoring. For four( 4) seasons, he served and was part of the “Rookie Mentoring Program for The New York Football Giants”. The program was instrumental in helping players to consider both employment and life options once their playing days ended. The success of the program led to the creation of a similar program for Veteran NFL players who were nearing the end of their professional careers.
James also served his country in the United States Army as an Air Defense Artillery Officer after graduating from Western Kentucky University and prior to joining Johnson & Johnson.
